Hi all 😁 Here’s my entry to Tina’s challenge: Leading Lines.
In the first set of shots, at the Battle of Bannockburn Site, the long path leads you to the memorial, and then onwards to the Robert The Bruce statue. In the 4th shot, I used the path to lead the eye to the statue, whilst framing it with part of the memorial structure.
The deck planking & the bowsprit of the Glenlee points to Glasgow in the next couple of shots.
The old fence line takes you across the autumn grass in the next shot.
And finally, the path and the hedge line on the left lead you to an unexpected find — an elephant hiding in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.
Nice collection, Jez. Very thoughtful. I like your explanations, too. And of course, the elephant!
Great photos Jez! I like the old fence!
Thanks, Aletta 😊 The fence does seem to be a favourite!
👍
Excellent, Jez. I like the old fence line, and an elephant in Glasgow is unusual!
Thanks, John 😊
A great gallery of leading lines Jez 🙂 Love the statue framed with parallel lines, the ship pointing the way is excellent and of course there is always an elephant in Scotland
Thanks, Brian 😊
Well done Jez, many wonderful takes on the subject. Loved the elephant 😊
What a fun surprise! Unless you know it’s there, you wouldn’t know it was there. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome 😊
Nice, Jez. The elephant must have certainly been an unexpected sight!
Thanks, Wendy 😊 Certainly not what I expected to see!
I love that elephant. Nice responses to the challenge Jez.
Thanks, Anne 😁 The elephant does seem to be popular!
