Lucky Timing — Bird Weekly – Photo Challenge

Hi all šŸ˜ƒ My entry for Lisa’s Bird Weekly – Photo Challenge: Birds in Flight.

This first shot was lucky timing — I was playing with Lensy down at Lock 20 on the Forth & Clyde Canal & took the shot below. It wasn’t until I was editing that I saw I’d caught the 2 Mallards I’d just been talking to, in flight.

  1. Hi again, Jez, I love the gaggle of geese as well. That is a very cool pattern. With your permission I am also linking this post to John’s interview on my blog.

  2. Awesome flying birds this week, Jez. I love that you are using your lens ball. I still haven’t purchased one yet but I will get around to it eventually. LOL. I love the pattern of the flocks of geese or should I say gaggle! šŸ™‚

  3. Wow wow wow!
I can’t imagine how you might be able to catch all of these …. unless you’re perpetually poised and ready?!!!

    1. Thanks so much, Ju-Lyn šŸ˜Š A combination of luck, right place at the right time, & pretty much always having a camera with me šŸ¤ž
