Hi all π My entry for the Photographing Public Art Challenge #7, set this week by Marsha.
My wife & I came across these small pieces of art made from driftwood, stones & shells whilst walking on Broughty Ferry Beach, just outside of Dundee π It’s fun to imagine who made these little master pieces & did they survive the next high tide π€

I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. My faithful camera, Snappy, and the ever-present Lensy (lensball) are always along for the ride to capture the beauty of Scotland π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ. Join me as I share photos from our travels, how Lensy views the world & pretty much anything shiny β¨

Now, this is a solid proof is fun is all around us, all the time.
We just have to look closely to have it π
Wonderful findings!
This is fun. The last one kind of looks like a bunny rabbit.
Thanks, Julie π
Did you find them or did you do them? They look wondrous!
We found them by chance as we were walking round the top end of the groynes because the seaward ends were in the water π
How lovely! Great find Jez!
Thanks, Aletta π
This is amazing.

What fun artwork. I have some small rocks on my desk, I want to see if I can’t balance them together. One day maybe. Love your post π
Thanks, Cee π
This inspires me Jez. I have an art of the beach post I haven’t written yet, but I found some artsy photos in my archives. I see a rabbit, a kangaroo, a fish skeleton, and several abstracts. What did you see?
Totally against my nature that needs to classify things, I just saw beautifully arrangement of sticks and stones
LOL, and I can’t help classifying everything I touch. Not that I am super organized, but I enjoy doing it. π Not very original or creative of me, though.
My wife & I name everything; such as Snappy (DSLR), Lensy (lensball), Stormy (my bike). Even in the kitchen we have Mr Fry (airfryer), Wokky (I think you can guess that one) π
LOL We have named some of our cars, but we don’t name everything. We had Golfi, Wolfie, our two VWs, and Prissy, my green Prius
For me there was also a rabbit, as well as someone carrying a sack, a seahorse, a ladder, & someone with a ribbon in their hair π
Okay, you have great vision! π That explains why you are such a great photographer. π
Thanks, Marsha π You’re making me blush π
LOL
That’s what my bestie and I do at the beach too π π
Wow. Very artistic.
I would love to know who did them π€
What a great find, really brightens up your day when you see things like that
It really does π
