Hi all π My entry for Xingfumamas Pull Up a Seat Challenge. There’s also a sculpture by the seat, so this is also my entry for PPAC, hosted this week by Marsha. There is no explanation for the sculpture; to me though it looks like the ruins of a church, particularly with the stained glass inserts π

Are the green glasses, stain glass from the old church.
Super interesting, Jez. Your explanation seems plausible. I’m in love with that first picture looking out on the marina with the sculptures in the foreground and the hazy sky. It’s stunning. Thanks for playing along! π

I like to think they are, but there’s no description of the sculpture; so we get to make up our own minds π
Gorgeous sight with the autumn leaves on the foreground!
Thanks, Teresa π

Thanks, Marsha π I’ll hopefully be back there on a drier day sometime π
Oh Jez, this is a marvelous entry for PPAC π π
Thanks, Cee π I didn’t even know the sculpture was there until the otherday, & I’ve passed by that spot many times π
Great photographyove it
Thanks, Jake π
Really interesting spot. The sculpture definitely has a church ruins vibe to it. Is the top of that seat convex?
It is slightly; a bit of a weird sitting experience π
Prehistoric
What a gorgeous setting and I like the art too.
Thanks, Manja π Even the rain can’t dull the enjoyment of the setting π
