Many of these rigs off the coast of California have been decommissioned, and are in process of being removed It will be nice to see the ocean without 11 rigs in the line of sight!

Huge! Still, I’d rather have one of these in my line of sight than the old nuclear power plant about 30km up north which is being demantled now.

They really do mar the view. I like to think that a decommissioned rig is a sign of less reliance on fossil fuels 😃
