  1. Love the sort of still life! That’s pretty cool that you’re from Scotland and I love that you chose a Scottish Whiskey as your photo challenge. That’s definitely the best whiskey ever! That’s awesome that you are a Royal Navy Veteran! Thanks for your service! Just a quick question: do you and Susan watch Outlander and what are your thoughts on it?

    1. Hi Sirirani, glad you’re a fan of Scotch 😁 Might have to do that as a post one day. Susan and I did start watching Outlander and enjoyed it. Although, it is hard seeing the brutality of an occupying force so starkly and accurately portrayed. Unfortunately, things got hectic at work so we didn’t get past the first season. We are hoping to catch up with it when/if things quieten down.

      1. I agree. I can relate whenever I watch movies that have to do with the British Raj time period or the American Revolution time period. Two of the movies guaranteed to make you cry are any of the Bollywood movies about Bhagat Singh and the Hollywood movie The Patriot. You’re in for a treat. There are definitely some interesting scenes in the rest of the other seasons of Outlander. Have you read the books on the Outlander series?

      2. I’ve not read the books, but hope to when I get the chance. I’ve seen The Patriot and it is indeed a powerful movie; only to be topped by Braveheart, but I am biased. I’ve not really seen many Bollywood films but I’ll look up some as you recommend.

      3. Oh I know what you mean I love Braveheart as well. It’s just a powerful movie to watch! I think you would like Padmaavat. It’s also a powerful movie.

Great to hear your thoughts 😃
