Hi all 😁 Welcome to today’s Fan Of… Himalayan Rock Salt Tea Light Holder (try saying that quick after a glass of wine 😂). As well as looking great, himalayan salt is known to emit negative ions when warmed, which help purify the air against allergens and pollutants. The opacity of the salt creates a soft glow, and the varied chrystalline structure alters the light levels coming through different parts of the holder.

Fan Of… #23 — Tulips

Hi all 😁 and welcome to today’s Fan Of… Tulips. I’ve seen the fantastic tulip fields in Holland a few times on my travels and never cease to be delighted by them. These photos were taken at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, where they had a tub of tulips right at the entrance way, and then a couple of beds further along the path.

Hi all 😁 and welcome to today’s Fan Of… Solar powered desk lamp. This is actually my wife’s lamp, from Ikea, which I yoink on a pretty regular basis. I use this in conjunction with my homemade light box when I want to photograph small objects and the light is poor.

Fan Off… #21 — Pocket Watches

Hi all 😁 and here’s today’s Fan Of… Pocket Watches. My first pocket watch was bought for me by my parents (thanks 🙏 Mum & Dad), somewhere around 20 years ago. It is a Ford Model T Collector Watch that comes with its own stand, in the form of a Model T and lamp post. The second, my awesome wife got for me (thanks 🙏 sweetie) for my birthday last year. Both are skeleton watches in so much that you can see the inner workings. With the second one, you can see the inner workings both on the face and the back.
