Cirrus clouds can be a sign of an approaching warm front, and therefore rain, in this part of the world.
Cumulonimbus clouds are a sign that you are going to get drenched

Very cool sign. In fact i was marveling at the fact we had a pretty sunrise today. It’s now two after later and we have Cirrus clouds again. So we are going to be getting more rain. Chris was a meteorologist in the US Army in the 1970s. So clouds are a fun thing our house. Wonderful signs fore this week!
Oh wowSusan & I were both meteorologists in the Navy; I was a forecaster & Susan an observer. We met whilst on our basic courses & the rest is history. Clouds are a fun thing in our house as well
What a small world. What a sweet story for you two. Chris used her meteorology while testing missiles. Had to know if there was a misfire winds would end up. I met Chris way after she got out of the Army. She is 8 years older than I am.
The world gets smaller; Susan is almost 8 years younger than me!!!
