I like both crops. It’s interesting how the crop directs our attention. Your eye goes more to the snow and the sunlight in the top picture and more to what the horse is eating in the square one.

It certainly is an interesting way of changing a perspective in a photo through editing

I enjoy the sun every morning in winter. My computer room winter faces the sun.
( It also faces the front street so I can enjoy seeing what the neighbors are doing. 🙂 )
