When Photography Goes Wrong — An Unfortunate Silhouette

·

Hi All 👋 I was out with Lensy for a dawn walk yesterday, visiting what has become my favourite sunrise spot. There’s a post that Lensy usually sits on for his shoot, but I found a new seat for him.

So as usuall, I snapped away quite happily; owing to the bright light, it was difficult to see the camera screen to check the shots, so I didn’t bother. It wasn’t until I’d got home, uploaded my morning’s work to the computer, & was showing my wife the pics that the unfortunate silhouette became apparent. My wife, on seeing the picture, starting giggling & then laughed her head off for 5 straight minutes (ok, I exagerate, it was 4 1/2 mins).

These are the other shots from that particular set of images.

I have always liked Lensy and I have to admit the “error” photos did make me chuckle.

Call me unoriginal, but I like the scenes without lensy (or where I close it out) best
