I don’t think I’ve taken a dandelion this year. I do have some in my yard though. I’m enjoying your photos 😀

Are you sure that it is a dandelion? I think it is a different plant, Pippau in German, Latin crepis, I don’t know the English name. But I am by no means an expert.

I’ll need to check up on that, Elke. I’ve always thought that they were a bit different but were just a variant

Let me know what you find out because I’m not sure either. I only started to try to identify flowers once I started to photograph them.

I’ve had a look & you are spot on. I can’t find an English name for them either, and they are a relative of the dandelion. I’ve put their proper name on tomorrow’s post, & of course given you a mention
