Hi All 👋 My post for Ragtag Daily Prompt Saturday: Flight.
Down by the Fourth & Clyde Canal, I was having a chat with a female mallard, stood on top of a wall (the mallard, not me).
She was suddenly startled into flight by a male mallard; you can just see him entering the left of the shot.
I tried tracking them as they flew off, but thier proximity & speed made it difficult; the low light conditions didn’t help either. That being said, the following shots, although blurred, give a good indication of how fast they were going, & made the background almost abstract, particularly the first in the sequence.
