Our squirrels have found that that the farmer’s corn field west of us still has cobs of corn. All day I have watched then scampering along with the big yellow cobs in their mouths. They take off a few kernels and bury them patting them down carefully. Good thing they are busy with this today as I think that tomorrow will be the day the farmer will be in with the big harvester to strip off the cobs.
