Blackness Castle — Fan Of… #185

This week’s Fan Of… is Blackness Castle, even in the fog.

My wife & I stopped off at Blackness Castle on the southern shores of the Forth on our way to Kirkcaldy. We didn’t do the full tour this time but had a look around the grounds.

There are meant to be fantastic views over the Forth, but owing to the fog, this is all we saw

Not 20 miles along the coast in Kirkcaldy, a very different day!!! In the first shot, you can see the fog bank that was blanketing much of the western end of the Forth.
