This week’s Fan Of… is Irvine Beach & Waterfront. Irvine is another coastal town in Ayrshire, in the southwest of Scotland; it is a few miles North of Ayr, featured in last week’s post.

Love it down there! The maritime museum is worth a visit.
We didn’t have time to go in, but planning a return trip soon
I love the little bloke in the boat made of stone, great sculpture. Is that a giant wave about to capsize him?
I think it is; there was no info about the sculpture, but I think it’s a nod to Irvine’s fishing heritage
