We’re in Ayr for the next series of WWE, starting with the River Doon. The river runs through Alloway, the birthplace of the renowned Scottish poet Rabbie Burns. It features in his famous poem “Tam o’ Shanter” & is the setting for his lesser-known “The Banks O’ Doon.”

How To Join In

    We used to sing it at primary school – ‘Ye banks and braes o’ bonny Doon’ – and it seems I still have it in my head today ๐Ÿ™‚
