I’m still playing with my iPhone inverted so that the lens is at ground level. I took this next shot & again, I’m quite happy with the result. Whilst cropping it for the feature photo, I came up with a dilemma; do I have the leaf in the top right 3rd or bottom right 3rd.

Hi All 👋 My latest post for Cee’s FOTD. As we move into autumn & the days are greyer, colder, and wetter & most of the flowers are starting to disappear. I’ve dug out some bright rhodies from earlier this year.

I was first captivated by the vivid red hue of this particular leaf, further intrigued by the contrasting brown veins. It screamed “photo opportunity” to me. By inverting my phone, I managed to get a ground-level close-up without the need to lie down. This technique offers a unique perspective because you can’t preview the shot.
