Fan Of… Daily Post #2
Hi all. Today’s Fan Of… is still with Star Wars, kind of; bear with me on this. I had my third appointment at the local fracture clinic today and, woohoomy cast is off. I have, instead, been fitted with a moon boot to allow me to start to put weight on my ankle and rebuild the strength in my right leg. The moon boot makes me look like I’ve got the lower leg of a Storm Trooper, and hence the Star Wars link.

Busy Bees
We have a large hibiscus hedge bordering one side of our garden which is in full bloom at the moment. The black berry (bramble — depending where you grew up) bush is nearing the end of it’s flowering stage, with the fruits starting to form. Both these are a huge magnet to bees and hover flies.

Bird of the Day — Goslings Cutting Grass!
I didn’t know that geese ate grass, but this lot were lined up with their parent, cropping the grass as they went; almost straight into the loch.
