This is a new one — I inadvertently took a screenshot on my watch whilst running stock at work; this requires 2 buttons to be pushed simultaneously.

Rabbie Burns — Monday Portrait Jul 01

This is a fun challenge that no one hosts, so if you want to participate, just post a photo.

In keeping with my Historic Scotland Fan Of… Series, this is a wicker statue of Rabbie Burns that can be found in the small holding next to the cottage where he was born

Discover the Vibrant Yellow Azaleas in a Sci-fi World — FOTD Jul 01

Hi All 👋 My latest post for Cee’s FOTD.

With Cee recuperating, I’ll be posting flowers daily to give her a bit of floral delight (my version of a bouquet)

Happy Julylet’s start off with a cheerful yellow azalea bush

As with my latest Fan Of… post (see link), I’m exploring some DALL-E AI preset styles for my edits.

For today, I’ve done a sci-fi-style edit. For me, the colours of this vibrant azalea matched well with the blue neon of the sci-fi world

If you follow my blog, you know I’m currently working on a project fusing my photography with AI creativity. For more on my journey with AI, check out my Fan Of… series, the latest of which is a reimagining of some lensball shots.

Next to the Azaleas– Pull Up a Seat Wk #26

Hi All 👋 My entry for Xingfumama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge.

This bench is in the Burns (Rabbie Burns) Monument & Memorial Garden next to a vibrant azalea bush that seems intent on claiming it as its own. I’ll be featuring some more benches from this Garden in the future.

I thought I’d do a few Hot Mods edits for this bench.

    Silent Sunday Jun 30

    Greenan Tower in the mist

I had to do a few AI edits for this tower in the mist. I went through a few different styles, as seen in the carousel belowSome of the styles, such as impressionism, are applied to the whole scene; others, like the mirrored glass style at the end, are applied to the subject of the picture—the tower.

Have a look through & enjoy Greenan Tower as it’s never been seen before

When I saw the outcome of the mirrored glass tower, I had to place the tower in a sci-fi setting. The mirrored tower sits in an alien loch amidst a lunar landscape; I think it came out quite well
