Uncooperative Bee — Cellpic Sunday

Hi all 😃 This is my latest post for John’s Cellpic Sunday.

Whilst out getting some more floral shots for FOTD, I saw this foggie bummer (Scots for bumble bee with a white tail) busy at pollen collection, so I thought I’d get a few shots.

It seemed settled on one flower head, but as soon as I got close, it moved 😩

Rescue a Weary Bee — Fan Of… #121

Hi all 😁 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).

This week’s Fan Of… is rescued a weary bee.

Whilst out in the garden collecting in the washing, my wife & I noticed a bee on the ground barely moving. We had read about people giving bees a mixture of sugar & water to perk them up, so I decided to give it a go. I made a small amount of sugary water & poured it onto the ground right next to the bee.
