A very quick transformation in the Baroque style today is lightened and softened in the second picture by blending both Baroque and watercolour styles.

Today, I’m trying out the Mannerism style. It came out really well, so for the second, I simply got the AI to add a Mennersim-style frame. I’ve included a wee history on the Mannersim Period as well.
Mannerism is a style in European art that emerged in the later years of the Italian High Renaissance around 1520. It spread by about 1530 and lasted until about the end of the 16th century in Italy when the Baroque style largely replaced it. Northern Mannerism continued into the early 17th century.
Mannerism is an art movement that emerged in reaction to the harmonious ideals of the High Renaissance. It exaggerates proportion, balance, and ideal beauty, often resulting in asymmetrical or unnaturally elegant compositions. The style favours compositional tension and instability rather than balance and clarity. Mannerism in literature and music is also known for its ornate style and intellectual sophistication.
Mannerism was an anti-classical movement that differed from the Renaissance aesthetic. Initially praised by Vasari, it was later criticized for straying from natural truth. Mannerist artists experimented with art perception using unique characteristics.
Below is a comparison of the Renaissance & Mannerism styles.

I thought I’d try a Renaissance-style edit for today’s Blossom shot. It came out really well, so for the second, I simply got the AI to add a Renaissance-style frame. I’ve included a wee history on the Renaissance Period after the images below.
The Renaissance was a significant period in history and a cultural movement that took place between the 15th and 16th centuries. It marked a transitional phase from the Middle Ages to modernity. The main focus of this movement was to revive and surpass the ideas and achievements of classical antiquity.
The Renaissance was fueled by humanism and the rediscovery of classical Greek philosophy. The development of perspective in oil painting and the knowledge of making concrete were early examples.
The Renaissance period began during the crisis of the Late Middle Ages and ended by the 1600s with the waning of humanism. The advents of Reformations and Counter-Reformation, and in art, the Baroque period marked its end.
The Renaissance was a cultural movement in Europe during the early modern period that impacted art, architecture, philosophy, literature, music, science, technology, politics, religion, and intellectual inquiry. Scholars used the humanist method and emphasized realism and human emotion in art.
Renaissance art (1350 – 1620 AD) is the painting, sculpture, and decorative arts of the European Renaissance period, which began in Italy around AD 1400. It was based on the art of Classical antiquity but transformed by incorporating recent developments in the art of Northern Europe and applying contemporary scientific knowledge. Renaissance art spread throughout Europe, marking the transition from the medieval period to the Early Modern Age.
Renaissance art shifted from abstract to representational forms. It expanded to include classical mythology, portraits, and contemporary events. There was a revival of classical styles and ideas (specifically humanism), a return to the naturalistic style (3D objects and space), and the rising status of the individual (both artist and patron).

I first edited this blossom in the Gothic style. As you can see from the first picture below, it came out very dark. To lighten it, I prompted the AI to keep the Gothic style but to fuse it with the watercolour style (second picture); I think it came out really well.
