Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge: Crafting a False Identity.
I used the same baseline picture I’ve previously used for the cryptography prompt.
The first image from my prompt looked a bit too old world.

Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge: Crafting a False Identity.
I used the same baseline picture I’ve previously used for the cryptography prompt.
The first image from my prompt looked a bit too old world.
Hi All 👋 Feel free to join this weekly challenge whenever you think, “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).
This time, we’re back with Lensy getting the Hot Mods treatment.
Again, I’ve been really busy with work & had minimal downtime, so I thought I’d have a quick play around with some new pre-set styles in DALL-E.
Enjoy these re-imaginings; let me know your favourite in the comments
This is my baseline photo for the week; a shot of Fannyside Lochs as seen through Lensy.
Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge: Disguised Rendezvous In A Foreign City.
I don’t have many foreign city pictures, so I went with a shot of Santa Monica Pier as my baseline.
I was running a wee bit short on time for this, so I went straight for uncomplicated fun (when Susan was working on this earlier, I thought she was about to throw her MacBook at something).
There weren’t enough elements of the Santa Monica Pier in this, so I added some other pictures to the prompt & re-ran it.
This is the re-run using a combination of 4 original pictures.
I like the fun of this & this is my main picture for this week’s challenge, but I also decided to have it viewed by a real wizard using a crystal ball.
That was not quite what I wanted, so I rewrote the prompt with the real wizard viewing the rendezvous using a giant crystal ball in a steampunk room.
Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge.
There are two images that I’m going with for this week’s challenge. Both came from the same baseline picture.
The first is an action-packed, chaotic scene at a snowy border crossing.
For the second, I re-imagined the scene as a standoff between Roman Soldiers & Pictish Warriors at a Gate on Hadrian’s Wall. Which do you prefer?
Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge: Hacking.
I used a couple of baseline photos for this challenge.
So over to Hot Mods & away we go. The very first prompt came out pretty well.
I wanted the guy to be more sneaky-looking, so I told the AI to put his hood up to hide his face; this came out really well.
So basically, job doneBut why stop there; let’s steampunk it!
Now, that’s cool, but whilst we’re at it, let’s try cyber-punk.
Again, love the outcome, particularly the control orb he’s using to do the hack. Now, let’s blend steampunk & cyber-punk.
Awesome, but where nextI know, how about mythical, with a wizard doing the hack
It’s a bit nicey-nicey, so let’s darken it a wee bit.
This was the look I was going for.
Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge: Escape from a high-security facility.
This is the picture I’m going with for the challenge, but there were a few others on the way to this one. To me, it perfectly encapsulates a daring escape from a high-security facility.
Hi All 👋 Feel free to join this weekly challenge whenever you think, “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).
This week, some snowdrops get the Hot Mods treatment.
I started off with a very basic picture of some snowdrops & let my inner chimp’s (Godfrey) imagination run crazy; this is the baseline picture.
My first idea was to have the snowdrops in an ornate frame but seeming to grow out of it.

This is also my post for Terri’s Sunday Stills: Editing.
This time, Lensy’s getting the Hot Mods treatment.
I used this shot of the Clackmannan Bridge as my baseline shot for my first re-imagining.
My idea for this shot was to have a dragon guarding the bridge.
I wasn’t specific enough in the prompt about Lensy, so the AI removed him from the image; back to the prompt
My next shots are variations of modifications to Lensy sat on a mossy branch.
I was going for an enchanted forest setting with runic symbols/glyphs. I was happy withy the outcome for these.
Next up, Alloa Tower House gets the Hot Mod treatment.
Again, staying with the mystical/enchanted theme.
Clackmannan Tower gets a similar treatment.
For these, I was trying for a fusion of old & futuristic. I designed the prompt so that the image inside Lensy was an old-style, mystical tower, whilst outside was a futuristic world.
The first re-imagining combined old/futuristic within the lensball, so back to the prompt. The others came out pretty well.
Prompt engineering is an evolving function; for the same prompt, you will get different outputs from different photos. The prompt needs to be tweaked constantly to fit the original photo & the desired outcome. So, join me over the next few weeks as I delve further into the world of prompt engineering & artwork manipulation.
Come back next week to see how a simple shot of some snowdrops…
…led to a tottie wee bit of an obsession & the following end result.

Hae a guid week 😁
Hi All 👋 My latest post for Susan’s Digital Art Challenge: Deciphering a Cryptic Message.
I used two baseline images for this week’s challenge…
…and then wrote a prompt to include the deciphering of a message. I was very happy with the first image created.
Never one to leave well enough alone, I had to re-imagine this in a steampunk world.
This was a cool outcome, but I wanted to go one step further. I’ve been playing around with a fusion of steampunk & futuristic settings, so that’s what I’ve gone with for this final image.
