Today, I’ve done another of my favourites, a baroque-style transformation. This places the flower in an elegant setting, complete with ornamental gardens, columns & arches

My current Historic Scotland Series takes a lot more work to write & edit so that I can do justice to this fantastic country I am proud to be a part of. Work last week turned into a 6 day marathon with more of the same this week, not allowing me the time I want to spend on my Fan Of… posts.

The next post in the Historical Scotland series will be the promised “Poets Path”, now on July 22nd.

Until then, here are the first two posts in the series in case you missed them.

Captivating Camelia Star Edit: A Mystical Transformation — Weekend FOTD Jul 06/07

Hi All 👋 My latest post for Cee’s Weekend FOTD.

    Camelia
    Camelia

As with my latest Fan Of… post (see link), I’m exploring some DALL-E AI preset styles for my edits.

For today, I’ve done a star-style edit. This is meant to re-draw the picture in stars, but as with the rhododendrons from a few days ago, the complexity of the original image means that it hasn’t quite worked. The camelia have been kept as they are in the original, but the background & path have been turned into galaxies; I again really like this effect & it looks like one of my own mystical/enchanted transformations

Serenely Reimagined Camelia: Nighttime-Style Edit — FOTD Jul 05

    Camelia

As with my latest Fan Of… post (see link), I’m exploring some DALL-E AI preset styles for my edits.

For this vibrant camelia, I’ve done a nighttime-style edit. This re-imagines the flower in a nighttime setting with subdued lighting around the plant & often backlights the plant to increase the contrasts & highlight the details. I was really happy with the end result of this transformation, having the camelia set in a serene oriental-style setting

    Fuzzy Deutzia
    Fuzzy Deutzia

As with my latest Fan Of… post (see link), I’m exploring some DALL-E AI preset styles for my edits.

The name of this plant just demanded a feathers-style edit. For this, the transformation is to make the subject of the picture made from feathers; the fluffy outcome suits the plant’s name perfectly
