    Any of you following my blog, will know I’m currently working on a project fusing my own photography with AI creativity.     I’m keeping my AI creativity a bit more simple as we go through silly season in the retail world — there just isn’t the time to devote to prompt engineering. The next series of AI artwork will feature magical enhancements to the flower picture. Today though, I’ve two different AI images from the same base picture. With this first one, I simply added magical elements.

    Although a great re-imagining, the iris has been transformed into something closer to a water lily. I then re-engineered the prompt but told the AI the type of flower — in this case, an iris; this was the result.

    As you can see, the flower displayed is an iris, complete with the furled buds.

    Come visit again tomorrow, where I have a treasure flower, again re-imagined with & without putting the name in the prompt, with quite an interesting outcome

    I thought I’d do a bit of creative artwork with the image above. I’ve been experimenting with different settings for the sunflower, & decided this time to go with enchanted elements. For this prompt, I imagined a scene of a sunflower on a hillside surrounded by spring flowers & fairies. It overlooks a valley with a distant hilltop city next to a river. Dragons soar across the skies against a mountainous backdrop & large moon.

    I’m doing a series of icy puddles for WWE; all shots are taken using my iPhone SE, inverted at ground level for a unique perspective

    I thought I’d do a bit of creative artwork with the image above. I’ve been experimenting with different settings for the sunflower, & decided this time to go with a fusion of enchanted elements & futuristic cityscape. My main points were to have a sunflower growing out of an old helmet in the foreground, alongside a mystical tower on a hillside overlooking a valley in which sits a futuristic city alongside a river. The image was also to feature fairies & dragons. This was the first image generated.

    I love the effect of the plume on the helmet being made of sunflower petals & grass, but I wanted the tower to be more of a feature & so I re-engineered the prompt.

    This time the AI made the old helmet the remnants of a futuristic statue; a good look but still not what I intended, so back to the prompt.

    Again, the AI melded the tower & helmet prompt, so I needed to separate them.

    I finally got the tower & helmet separated, but now they have also been separated spatially, whereas I had envisioned them on the same hillside. Back to the prompt!!!

    Okay, I’ve got to admit, I like this image; it’s not what I intended, but all the aspects are there. I like the half sunflower, half helmet effect & that on one side is a pristine natural landscape, & on the other, a futuristic world, echo’d by the sunflower/helmet. This is an image that requires more work & will feature again in a future post.

    I thought I’d do a bit of creative artwork with the image above. I’ve a trio of re-imagined shots today. I decided to have the sunflower in a post-apocalyptic setting for today. The first image has the sunflower lit by a sunbeam, growing out of a crack in a highway running through a post-apocalyptic cityscape. I added in cars littering the highway as if a mass-exodus had taken place.

    I wanted the cityscape to be more futuristic, & the sunflower more of a feature in the picture. When I re-engineered the prompt, I told it to make the sunflower larger; this was the result: Mutant Sunflower

    Although not what I intended, I do like the idea of a giant mutant sunflower; who knows what calamity befell the city & led to this giant flower. I also like the futuristic cityscape in this one.

    To get the desired effect, I re-engineered the prompt again to make the sunflower more of a feature (not larger — it’s all about learning the AI’s language), and this was the result. I’m happy with how it came out; the sunflower stands tall & proud & the skies are clearing & becoming more blue again, perhaps a symbol of hope & recovery

    I thought I’d do a bit of creative artwork with the image above. I’ve a couple of re-imagined shots today. The first was a very basic prompt using the sunflower picture; the sunflower is growing out of a camel skull in a barren desert with sand dunes & distant mountains.

    For the second image, I’ve added a mystical ruin by an oasis, & a couple of scorpions for interest.
