    Autumn Song — Lens-Artists Challenge #297

Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Egidio: Music to my eyes.

Now, this was a real tester; I didn’t think I would have anything to contribute to Egidio’s prompt.

I don’t really associate music with my pictures apart from one particular song that has stuck with me all my life. I first heard the song “Forever Autumn” by Justin Hayward as a young child & whenever I see autumnal scenes, the song plays in my mind.

To that end, I’ve concentrated on the one song & imagery that I associate with it.

The song is from the 1978 Jeff Wayne adaptation of War of the Worlds & is about the main character reminiscing about how he & his wife used to kick through the autumn leafs in a passed time.

    Abstracts — Lens-Artists Challenge #296

Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Ritva.

This is an interesting challenge; I’ve never really dabbled in the world of abstract, so here we go.

My first group could fit in a “what is it?” category of abstract.

This first shot looks like an alien forest; it’s a macro shot of dew on moss.

    Round & Round We Go — Lens-Artists Challenge #290

Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Leya: Circular Wonders.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to join in with the LAPC; hopefully, I won’t go overboard (no promises).

I’m starting off with some architectural circles in Glasgow. The first is the roof of Kibble Palace, then the Templeton Building & the staircase in the Lighthouse.

Embracing the Magic in Nature — Lens-Artists Challenge #279

Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Leya: Magical.

For me, nature needs nothing added to it for that magical touch; simply a new day, golden sun & a hint of mist to soften the reflections & scene.

Crystal Visions: Enchanting Lensball & Hot Mods Art Fusion

I am currently embarking on a new creative project based on my photography, & the use of AI to generate re-imaginings of some of my shots. You can follow my progress in my Fan Of… series (my first AI post here: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2023/12/11/from-photos-to-fantasies-exploring-ai-art-manipulation-in-my-fan-of-series/), as I tackle prompt engineering within Hot Mods, a function of ChatGPT.

Having seen my first post, Bushboy mentioned Lensy featuring; a shot of him was my very first go at prompt engineering. The original shot is of Lensy sat on a mossy branch in a wooded glade with the low winters sun coming through a break in the trees. As this was my first prompt, it is at it’s most basic & I simply told the AI to make the scene mystical. Below are the original & the re-imagining.

More lensball re-imaginings will feature in the coming weeks.
