Hi All 👋 My post for yesterday’s OWS: Duel was a duel where the Stormtrooper wonElke from Eklastic didn’t believe that a Stormtrooper would win a duel, so I managed to get hold of some other pics from after the duel.
Looks like summer, but looks can be deceiving; these following shots were all taken a few years ago when my wife & I were staying in Malibu & Santa Monica. We were there in February, although it looks like summer.
Summer here means lots of green…
As well as lots of flowers for the butterflies & bees.
Summer is bright blue skies & yellow sands; we’re fortunate to have much quieter beaches
Whilst out getting some more floral shots for FOTD, I saw this foggie bummer (Scots for bumble bee with a white tail) busy at pollen collection, so I thought I’d get a few shots.
It seemed settled on one flower head, but as soon as I got close, it moved
