This week’s Fan Of… is Irvine Beach & Waterfront. Irvine is another coastal town in Ayrshire, in the southwest of Scotland; it is a few miles North of Ayr, featured in last week’s post.

This week’s Fan Of… is Ayr Beach. Ayr & its beach sit on the west coast of Scotland, at the southern end of the Clyde Estuary. Across the water from Ayr is the Isle of Arran & beyond that, the Mull of Kintyre. The day we visited was sunny but cold & windy; a great day for a walk on the beach.
