Wing Imprints in Snow — Fan Of… #99
Hi all 😁 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how to).
This weeks Fan Of… is wing imprints in the snow.
A couple of weeks ago we a had over one foot of snow fall in about 24 hours. The next day when I was out getting some macro shots of icicles, I noticed some odd impressions in the snow. It turned out that these were impressions of pigeons wings from when they had landed & sunk unexpectedly into the deep snow & then taken off again. In the 1st & 5th shots you can see the impression of their bodies, with the wing pattern spreading out from that point 😲
