Fan Of… #31 and Pull up a Seat Photo Challenge Wk34

Hi all 😁 Welcome to today’s Fan Of… Antique Library chair; this is also my entry for XingfuMama’s Pull Up a Seat photo challenge.

My wife got me this antique library chair approx twenty years ago (thanks sweetie 😘). The chair is well over 100 hundred years old, and was hand carved by the last owner; a Harley Davidson fan. As well being a great chair, it is also a fantastic mini ladder, and has even been used for decorating duty.

For all those who follow this challenge, please take note of the frequency announcement below.

Well that’s August done and 31 Fan Of… posts 😁 A huge thank you to all those who have taken part in the challenge and for sharing your Fan Of… things. I’m going to be away for a week or so and then back to work with my leg now mended. With that in mind, I’m going to carry on this challenge, but as a weekly one and not daily. The next post will be Monday 9th and I hope to see all you Fan Of… fans then!

Until then, have a great time and thanks again 😁

  1. That library chair is really neat! Beautiful work and that it turns into a ladder is a bonus.
Thanks for the update of when “Fan Of” will be posted. I do like this challenge.

  2. That is such a interesting chair Jez. Lots of character, which is something I comment on very often to my wife. Who wants the mass produced garbage in most stores any more? I wondered if you would make a change to the Fan Of . . ., so glad you will continue it, even if only on a weekly basis. I already have a couple of months queued up in my head.
