I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. My faithful camera, Snappy, and the ever-present Lensy (lensball) are always along for the ride to capture the beauty of Scotland 🏴. Join me as I share photos from our travels, how Lensy views the world & pretty much anything shiny ✨ View all posts by Photos by Jez
A calm squirrel is a rarity in our garden. I think it may be because we are out in the open and they are aware there may be hawks above.
We have a hedge above the fence where one of the feeders is, and we cut it so that there is a tunnel for them to feel safe in. Also we are in town so there aren’t many predators for them to worry about, apart from the occasional cat.
If I recall rightly, she spent the whole afternoon like that–aside from grabbing some water, and the occasional nut from you. 😍
