Hi all 😁 This is my entry for Frank’s Dutch Goes the Photo! challenge. This week Frank tasks us with finding a photo that we like from our own back catalog.
This shot is not from deep within my archives, only a month or so old. It’s a photo I took of a sunrise whilst on holiday is Arbroath. I specifically looked at the weather forecasts, and sunrise times and my wife and I were up early at the sea front to try and get some decent photos. The clouds actually worked well and allowed for the colours to really build and bring a fantastic orange glow. The added bonus was the fishing boat coming out of the harbour with its attendant cloud of gulls to bring some life and movement to the shot.
Overall, it was a shot I worked for and, with a bit of luck added in, was really pleased at how it came out.
