This week’s Fan Of… is my new Neewer 10+ Macro filter. This was part of a filter kit that I got for my standard 18-55mm Canon lens.

This mini moss forest with tiny waterdroplets (almost invisible to the naked eye) was as detailed as I could get with the standard lens, but fortunately, I had my new 10+ Macro filter with me, and these are the resulting shots 😃 The waterdroplets were formed from tiny melting ice crystals and were smaller than the eye of a needle (thanks Sweetie, for the analogy) 😲

They’re good fun to play with. Keeping the ball & camera steady can be a challenge, so yay for auto-focus. I’ve got some more shots to post where I’ve sat the ball on a stump or on a tree branch 😃
