Fan Of… #62 — Reflections

·

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how to).

This week’s Fan Of… is reflections. Reflections in photography can be a lot of fun & literally turn the world upside down. We also sometimes get to see something that we wouldn’t ordinarily if constantly looking down. Reflections can come from many things; Water, buildings, glass, to name but a few.

In these first two shots, at a glance, it looks like the sun is coming through the trees, when in actual fact, the sun was behind me & is reflecting off the lensball.

Recently someone recommended that I get a Lensball to experiment. Might just have to do that. Nice collection of images.

I’m a reflection fan too – they always provide a different point of view!

Wonderful collection, Jez! You always remind me to take out the lensball and then I forget 🙂 I went walking (on my own, of course!) and came upon a deserted playground with a carved dragon that looked like Fuchur/Falko from The Neverending Story (I wrote my final thesis for German Language and Literature about this children’s novel). Which reminded me of other playgrounds I’ve been to: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/04/06/im-a-fan-of-playground-fairytale-animals/
