The fore top or fore topmast is the last section of mast above the fore mast.

Thanks, Lisa 😊
What a beauty!
Thanks, Anne 😊
That needs a song by the Four Tops 😀
Doh! Knew I’d forgotten to add something!
Wonderful Jez – been surprised how few topmasts there have been. I think this is only the second. Looks like a lovely ship
Weel worth a visit when you next get up to Glasgow 😃
ooh it is in Glasgow – another great reason to return 🙂
It’s moored outside the Riverside Museum (the new transport museum) out near Partick; also well worth a visit.
ooh MrB will like the thought of going to a transport museum. Adding it to the list – going to have to stay in Glasgow this time 🙂
Nice! I have a post with “topsails” coming. That’s a lovely ship, which is it?
Yay have been hoping you might have one planned 🙂
It’s the Glenlee, moored outside the Riverside Museum in Glasgow: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenlee_(ship)
What a history, but – 300 cadets! That would have been horribly crowded!
