The red cabbage is fantastic! I love the little squirrel. Sadly the little squirrel I have been watching all summer has disappeared. No sign of her at the bottom of the bird feeder or getting a drink from the bird bath. for three weeks now She was a bigger and healthy looking squirrel and I think she had babies in the spring. My husband says she has found another bird feeder closer to her home. I hope that is true.

They do often find food closer to home when they have young. You’ll probably see her young around once they are older
