Beautiful and serene!
Thanks, Aletta 😊 It is quiet up there, particularly early in the morning 😃
😊
Jez,whereabouts is this one?
It’s just to the north of Cumbernauld 😃
Jez, I left England at the age of 12 and 11 months without ever visiting Scotland, or Eirland – though it wasn’t a healthy plalce to be then. I have always loved the concept of once another country. My wife’s family are from Abroath – the fishing village, she is of the Clan Blair – I took her name when we married. The Tartan is yuck, I priced a kilt here at $700.00. As a child she spoke Gaelic – her Grandfather and she used to have conversations and she was the only one who could understand him. He was a Medic in WWI and in the Outback, here in Australia was the nearest ‘doctor’ in about 200 miles. No transport or trunk lines , people communicated with rifle shots.
