This week’s Fan Of.. is our new bike trailer for towing with our e-bikes.
Although actually sold as a pet carrier, we use it for hauling stuff to the local recycling/refuse centre, as well as going shopping. This carrier has a steel frame, quick-release wheels, a folding tow arm & folds flat for easy storage. It’s rated to carry 30kg altogether which makes it ideal for shopping trips. The towing bracket connects simply to a towing hook that is bolted to the rear axle of the bike; there is also a safety strap that attaches separately to the frame should the towing hook fail 😎 We got a second towing hook so the trailer can be hitched to either of the bikes. The following gallery is of a day when we took a dead microwave & other bits & pieces to the refuse centre, visited a local DIY centre to pick up new jigsaw, & then went on to run errands around town with 4 different stops, all in the pouring rain ☔️ everything went into the trailer 😃

Certainly helps us keep our carbon foot print down. we’re thinking of getting a flat-bed ones as well, to load up with camping gear & go bike camping 😃
