I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. My faithful camera, Snappy, and the ever-present Lensy (lensball) are always along for the ride to capture the beauty of Scotland đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż. I know this flower as crane flower. So beautiful!
That’s a great name, both for looking like the bird crane, & a bit like a tower crane đ

Gorgeous photo of this bird of paradise đ
Do they grow in Scotland – I thought it would be too cold, Sydney is just about warm enough.
It’s definitely to cold for them here; these ones were captured in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens đ
O, I suppose I ought to have known but plants are doing strange things. We can now get bananas to fruit here in sydney whereas before they would not.
Wow, is that down to climate change or are they GM fruits đ¤
Good one. Like the background. Have you tried to crop it? I reckon it would look good square đ
I’ll definitely give that a go đ
