Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).

This week’s Fan Of… is a visit to Helix Park.

This is also my entry for Xinfumama’s Pull Up a Seat Challenge. Check out the seat below

Helix Park is an outdoor visitors centre just outside of Falkirk & forms part of the Kelpies attraction. The Park is a very open area with a kids playpark, café, plenty of bike parking & two very large ponds. Both ponds are frequented by a variety of water birds: Swans, ducks, coots, geese & gulls, to mention but a few.

One is obviously manmade & has pedelos that can be hired during the summer season.

The second is much more natural & is surrounded by tall rushes & trees, with a wooden path winding through it.

    That looks like a fun park. It’s a great place to take pictures of birds, for sure. 🙂 I’m including Fan Of in Writer’s Quotes Wednesday tomorrow. 🙂

    Saw a show about Glasgow history and a look about. There was some huge building that looked amazing

      I was surprised to find it as well; there is an orange one at the other end of the seating area. I wonder if they are for people to take photos on
