I saw this odd pattern in the bottom of my coffee mug one day; to me, at first glance, it looked like a mountainous landscape with pine trees.

I was going to say mountainous landscape, but then say you’d said the same. So, I’ll go with my initial reaction of it being the wings of a scaly demon.

To me it’s one big tree with hanging branches.
I also see a less than perfect way of brewing coffee. I do not like to be able to chew the last sip.-
I like the big tree, & I usually prefer my coffee to not be crunchy
