    I love the composition of this. The brown, dead leaves surrounding the vibrant yellow of the new growth.

    Hi Jez, this is a Lesser celandine or fig buttercup. It’s so adorable 😀 😀

      Thanks, CeeYou must be on the same wavelength as my mum, she spotted it as a celandine as well; although I think I prefer the “fig buttercup” name
