I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. My faithful camera, Snappy, and the ever-present Lensy (lensball) are always along for the ride to capture the beauty of Scotland 🏴. Join me as I share photos from our travels, how Lensy views the world & pretty much anything shiny ✨

This is really huge ! I can also show an emormous body of water: the Rhone in Lyon/France:
My view is not quite as expansive, Jez: https://outofmywritemind.com/2022/08/15/peeking-through-the-pines/
A wonderful capture Jez, such a wide expanse and we can feel the breeze across the water. Our contribution for this week is from Loch an Eilein: https://whippetwisdom.com/2022/08/15/haibun-they-walk-beside-us/
Thanks, Xenia 😊
So big. And water can be so small: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/08/15/a-whole-township-devoted-to-tanning/
That’s a huge body of water. I had to look up estuary to make sure of what it was. I guess my little stream a few weeks ago running into the ocean at Avila Beach might be considered an estuary. It is certainly nothing at all like this. WOW!
To see streams turn into rivers & then into expansive estuaries is always amazing to me!
