Memories of a Bad Year — RDP

·

Hi All 👋 My post for Ragtag Daily Prompt Tuesday: Heal.

2019 was a bad year; I had a collapsed lung in February which meant a 5 day stay in a high dependency unit in hospital. I had a tube going in through my side into my lung to help reinflate it; it was attached to a chest drain box that had to go everywhere with me.

Slugzy got looked after as well

Then June rolled along & I was back at A&E with a broken leg & displace ankle joint

Thankfully, there were no lasting effects & I’m fully healed & staying away from hospitals as normal; apart from an appendectomy in 2020.

Thanks, ChristaA tough year with a silver lining of looking at our lives, simplifying & reducing expenditure & thereby reducing the necessity to work myself into the ground!
