I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. My faithful camera, Snappy, and the ever-present Lensy (lensball) are always along for the ride to capture the beauty of Scotland đ´ó §ó ˘ó łó Łó ´ó ż. Jack Frost on the go! The stark white twigs against the blue sky – wonderful!
Its thawing now (we had really icy roads this morning, with lots of accidents, because the rain came down on frozen ground) but the Christmas days, from 23rd to 27th are the warmest. Not quite what we hope for Christmas.
Crikey. If I ever get a rare frost here, it never gets above grass height. Tree tops!!!! I hope it was a deciduous tree and the foliage was going to drop any way
Fortunately all the foliage is long gone & it’s just bare branches. It looks like there is foliage, but it’s ice accretion on very branches & twigs đĽś

Then came the snow & it’s all away now, but set to return at the end of the week đĽś

The beauty of nature in winter is the only aspect of the cold I can tolerate.
Best viwed from somewhere warm!
Great that you have at least a blue sky there! Here itâs all frosty and a washed out grayish white sky
