This shot was taken with my iPhone inverted to get that ground-level perspective.

    You mean turned so that the camera bit is 1 cm off the ground instead of 10? (great result, btw!)

      Yep, that’s exactly it. You can also tilt the phone slightly forward or back. If you tilt it forward, the foreground becomes the focus & the background blurred. If you tilt it back, the background comes more into focus & the foreground is blurred

        I’ll definitely will play around with my minikins and this technique. I’m not a great phone photographer but I’m learning.
