We’re in Ayr for the next series of WWE, starting with the River Doon. The river runs through Alloway, the birthplace of the renowned Scottish poet Roabbie Burns. It features in his famous poem “Tam o’ Shanter” & is the setting for his lesser-known “The Banks O’ Doon.”

How To Join In

  1. Create a Water Water Everywhere Photo Post.

    Beautiful! We used to sing The Banks o Doon at primary school… it randomly gets stuck in my head a lot.
