This week’s Fan Of… is Cee’s Flower Of The Day (FOTD) challenge. This became my first regular challenge when I started blogging. Thanks to Cee’s challenge, I make the effort to get out more regularly with my camera, Snappy, & I have learned a lot about various plants, through my own discoveries, as well as Cee’s posts & all the others that post to her fantastic challenge.
I now go on regular flower walks to top up my flowers for the challenge, as well as for the lean winter months. Often during the winter, I buy bouquets of flowers that I can either capture in my mini home studio or in my garden.
Yesterday, Becky led the way with a yarn bombed tree; this reminded me of a “yarn bombed” bench at The Glasgow Botanic Gardens. My justification for including this in TreeSquares is as follows — the bench is made of wood (comes from a tree), it’s almost in the shade of some trees, which are behind it but can’t really be seen…& it’s square
