    Storm Damage — Cellpic Sunday

Hi All ๐Ÿ‘‹ This is my latest post for John’s Cellpic Sunday.

This is just across the road from where we stay. I did these shots with the phone inverted so that the camera lens was close to the ground for a ground-level perspective. I’d found a wee twig on the path that I could rest the phone on. The focal point can be altered by leaning the phone away from you or back towards you.

In this first shot, I tilted the phone toward the ground slightly so that nearer objects, like the twig, come into focus & the background is blurred.

For this second shot, I tilted the phone back towards me a wee bit so that the background came into focus.

This week’s Fan Of… is an Icy Puddle. This iced-over puddle had formed some interesting geometric shapes. I used my phone inverted at ground level for a unique perspective.

    Frosty leafs
    Frosty leafs

This week’s Fan Of… is frosty leafs. I spotted these in the carpark on the way to work on a cold morning. The humidity was relatively high, so ice crystals had formed on the leafs. I used my phone inverted at ground level for a unique perspective.
