Telling The Time — #PPAC

Hi all ๐Ÿ˜ƒ My entry for the Photographing Public Art Challenge, hosted by Natalie the Explorer.

This piece of public art can be found in the coastal town of Kirkcaldy, on the northern shores of the Firth of Forth. It is a working sundial in the shape of an octopus.

A Boat as a Planter — #PPAC #39

Working Horse Sculpture — PPAC #26

Hi all ๐Ÿ˜ƒ My entry for the Marsha & Cee’s Photographing Public Art Challenge, hosted this week by Marsha.

This sculpture of a working horse & handler can be found at the Falkirk Wheel. Working horses were key to industry back in the day & towed the barges along the canal, before they became motorised.

Overlooking the Marina on a rainy day — Pull Up a Seat #47 and PPAC #23

Hi all ๐Ÿ˜ƒ My entry for Xingfumamas Pull Up a Seat Challenge. There’s also a sculpture by the seat, so this is also my entry for PPAC, hosted this week by Marsha. There is no explanation for the sculpture; to me though it looks like the ruins of a church, particularly with the stained glass inserts ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Big Cat in the City — PPAC #22

Hi all ๐Ÿ˜ƒ My entry for the Marsha & Cee’s Photographing Public Art Challenge, hosted this week by Marsha.

I came across this mural in a back street, down by the River Clyde, in Glasgow ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
