    Seasons Greetings

Hi All 👋 With an increased workload over the next couple of weeks (some unexpected), I’ll be taking a wee break from my Fan Of… & WWE series. Both will return on 08 Jan 2024.

I’ll still be around with occasional posts & of course, my contributions to Cee’s FOTD with magical AI Artwork.

Here are some AI artwork images I worked on from an original shot of a steam locomotive; I had to go with a seasonal theme

For the first two pictures, I went for a more futuristic-looking train based on the locomotive; the first is a real blend of modern & old, almost as if the engine is morphing from new to old as it moves along. The second, when I added more elements to the prompt, came up with a train than looks like the famous Japanese Shinkansen. For the third, I styled it as more of a cartoon image.

Happy holidays & I hope you all have a great New Year & an even better 2024

    Simple Colouring — Lens-Artists Challenge #265

Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Anne of Slow Shutter Speed.

I edited this shot of Old Edinburgh in black & white to bring out the silhouettes of the buildings more. The original shot is fine in itself, but the black & white edit makes it more interesting & draws the eye to the skyline.

Old Steam Train — Monochrome Madness

Hi All 👋 My entry for Leanne’s Monochrome Madness. This vintage steam train that operates on a 5-mile section of track from Bo’ness Railway Museum was just asking for a black-and-white edit.

This wee bit of video was shot by my wife
